Description Robert Half has an immediate opening for an eager and ambitious Accounting Manager at a growing, dynamic Real Estate & Property company. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. What you get to do every day
Assist in preparing GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Possessing a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses Requirements - Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Solid technology and analytical abilities
Customer service oriented communication skills
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience preferred
Proficiency in general ledger
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Microsoft Excel experience
Practical knowledge of Commercial Property Management
Proven knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
General familiarity with Year-end Close
Knowledge of financial reporting
Well-founded grasp of month end closings
Recent relevant financial experience
