Description

Position Overview:

A client of ours is looking to hire a recruiting coordinator to add to their growing team! The recruiting coordinator is responsible for assisting with the internal team with various responsibilities pertaining to: recruiting, screening, candidate selection, and onboarding of exempt and non-exempt employees.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.

  • Acts as a liaison with employment agencies and company

  • Screens and interviews applicants.

  • Extends verbal and written job offers.

  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with potential candidate pools as a source of qualified applicants.

  • Conducts thorough orientation verifying completion and accuracy of required documentation.

  • Ensure all new hire information has been accurately and completely uploaded to the HRIS system. Organizes personnel files.

  • Updates weekly employee hiring summary reports.

  • Reviews new hire progress monthly then up to 90 days with hiring managers

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment.

  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time. Requires sitting, bending.

  • Uses office equipment and machinery effectively.

  • Requires normal finger dexterity for keyboarding.

  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.

  • Lifting requirements of 25 lbs. occasionally.

  • Minimal travel < 10%
