Description We are seeking a Revenue Accountant based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, compiling, and recording property revenues, working closely with Land Administration, and preparing, processing, and paying state severance taxes. You will also handle reconciliations of both severance taxes payable accounts and revenue accounts receivables. This role requires advanced Excel knowledge and experience with Excalibur and Quorum software.

Responsibilities:

• Review, compile, and record operated property revenues, primarily for properties in North Dakota and Montana.

• Collaborate with Land Administration to adjust revenue decks and make prior period adjustments for changes in ownership.

• Prepare, process, and pay state severance taxes, including but not limited to the Monthly North Dakota Oil Severance tax return (T-12), Monthly North Dakota Gas Severance tax return (T-13), and Quarterly Montana Oil and Gas production tax return.

• Reconcile all severance taxes payable accounts for oil and gas properties in North Dakota and Montana.

• Reconcile all revenue accounts receivables for oil and gas purchasers for properties in North Dakota and Montana.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including working with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

• Operate Excalibur and Quorum software. Requirements

• Proficiency in Excalibur software is preferred

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Revenue Accounting

• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of GAAP Accounting principles

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Experience in executing billing functions is necessary

• Must be able to handle and manage cash activity effectively

• Prior experience in auditing is a plus
