There's currently a full-time opportunity in the Real Estate & Property industry for a Senior Accountant to join a thriving, innovative company in the Dallas, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Real Estate & Property field and is located in Dallas, Texas.
What you get to do in this role:
Review and analyze 3rd party Purchase Price Allocations
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Review and analyze Settlement Statements for transactions of real estate assets(acquisitions and dispositions)
Technical Accounting as it relates to leases and the treatment of real estate transactions
Review and abstract new lease agreements
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

Bachelor's Degree in acctg required with 4+ years of experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Deep understanding of Microsoft Excel
Experience with MRI
Well-founded grasp of auditing
Proven knowledge of commercial real estate
Certified Public Accountant - CPA (US)
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
