Robert Half is looking for a consulting-minded individual with a technical background in Identity Access Management, who loves the challenge of solving problems with multiple layers of complexity. Our client’s Identity Management practice is expanding to meet customer demands in a variety of areas including identity and access management (IAM) strategy and program assessment, architecture and solution design, technology selection, business process development, and systems integration. The management of identities and access privileges requires involvement from IT and business units to implement effective technology solutions and business processes. Well run IAM programs reduce business risk, support regulatory compliance efforts, and reduce operational costs.

This position has direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities and the candidate is responsible for providing advisory services including IAM assessment, strategy, roadmap, testing, and system integrations. The candidate must be able to manage project teams consisting of both technical and non-technical staff, provide leadership to employees, deliver quality client service and demonstrate thorough IAM expertise. The candidate is also responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying and pursuing business development opportunities, and contributing to thought leadership in the IAM space. Responsibilities:

  • Leading IAM engagements at multiple customers, overseeing project teams, managing project scope, budget and deliverables

  • Working with clients to provide IAM advisory expertise and assisting team members in building IAM skills.

  • Communicating with the client and helping client understand different options at business and technical level.

  • Overseeing projects to install and configure IAM products.

  • Contributing to IAM thought leadership development

  • Qualifying and pursuing IAM business development opportunities

Requirements

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional work experience in at least one of the following IAM domains:

  • Strategic IAM Program advisory support, including IAM assessment, strategy and roadmap development

  • Identity Governance and Administration, including user provisioning and identity lifecycle management. Experience may include design or implementation of IGA technology (e.g. SailPoint, Omada, Saviynt, Microsoft Identity Manager, CA, Oracle, etc.)

  • Role-based access control, including role mining and design

  • Privileged access management, including PAM strategy, roadmap, and technology implementation (e.g. CyberArk, Lieberman, Thycotic, BeyondTrust, etc.)

  • Directory technologies including AD, LDAP, or virtual directories

  • Identity Federation, including implementation experience with Okta, Ping, or other similar solutions

  • Excellent communication skills and extensive experience working with clients and partners.

  • Experience with business development, including cultivating client relationships, managing proposal development process, and development of IAM thought leadership, among others.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and release management practices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross functional / matrix organization.

  • Strong team building, mentoring, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at the executive level and with staff both non-technical and technical.

Education & Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Information Systems, Information System Technologies, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years in a related cyber security field, preferably in professional services and/or industry.

  • Industry certification in an IT Security discipline (such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM) or Project Management (such as PMP) are a plus. Ability to Travel

  • Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments.
