Robert Half International Service Desk Support Analyst in Dallas, Texas
Our Service Desk Support Analyst is responsible for analyzing and resolving computer related hardware/software issues and office applications to support the continuous operations of the company. Primary tasks include installation of hardware, software, or peripheral equipment; maintenance and repair of computers or related equipment; escalation of end user issues and concerns to achieve timely resolution; and actively assist with the rollout of new hardware/software as needed.
The ideal candidate is multi-functional, highly organized, detail-oriented, project focused, resourceful, a creative thinker and a self-motivated team player. Additional skillsets include proactive problem solving, excellent communication skills, able to meet aggressive project deadlines, and has a working knowledge of supported business systems.
What you bring to the role
At a minimum, requires Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in IT Related field, and seven years service desk experience supporting a distributed workstation environment. (Four year Bachelor’s degree preferred) Possess A+ or Net+ Certification. (MCSE or having passed some of the exams is a plus) Extensive hands-on experience working in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, AS400 and other business applications Strong hands-on skills to troubleshoot/maintain computer hardware, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and peripheral devices including VOIP phones Exceptional communication skills and ability to present information and respond to questions from senior IT Management or internal users
