Robert Half Sourcing and Procurement Manager in Dallas, Texas

Description We are searching for a meticulous and experienced Sourcing and Procurement Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is pivotal in optimizing our organization's supply chain through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, compliance, risk management, and procurement process optimization. This role will provide an opportunity to collaborate with various departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve cost savings, quality improvement, and overall supply chain excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan that aligns with organizational goals.

• Identify potential suppliers, conduct negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance meets or exceeds expectations.

• Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

• Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Identify and manage risks associated with procurement activities.

• Implement and enforce procurement policies and procedures.

• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions in contracts, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service levels.

• Streamline and optimize the end-to-end procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

• Implement best practices for procurement, including e-sourcing, e-procurement, and vendor management systems.

• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Demonstrated experience in Billing and Invoice Processing is essential.

• Must have strong skills in Data Entry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

• Experience in Global Procurement is preferred.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

• Must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.

• Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
