Robert Half SOX Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description We are seeking a SOX Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role is an exciting opportunity within the service industry, focusing on SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley within a Commercial Banking environment. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with SOX walkthroughs and testing to ensure efficiency and accuracy

• Document control design and operating effectiveness for future reference and analysis

• Utilize your SOX experience within a Commercial Banking environment to enhance our existing processes

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all SOX controls are executed correctly

• Respond to any SOX related inquiries and provide necessary information

• Monitor and manage any changes in SOX regulations to keep our processes up-to-date

• Ensure customer credit accounts are monitored and appropriate action is taken to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain accurate records of all SOX related activities for auditing purposes

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Requirements • Must have a thorough understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and principles

• Proven experience in a similar role as a SOX Analyst is highly desirable

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and implement financial concepts for planning and control

• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in work

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

• Professional certification such as CPA, CISA, or CIA is a plus

• Familiarity with accounting software and systems

• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk assessment practices.
