As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates must be highly skilled at analytics. A full-time role, this position include excellent compensation and benefits. You will also have the possibility of growth. This Senior Accountant role is located in Dallas, Texas.
Your responsibilities in this role
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - Knowledgeable of ERP systems
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
Microsoft Excel experience
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Must have excellent time management skills
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Strong communication and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
