Description We are offering a role in our team for a Senior Accountant based in Dallas, Texas. This role primarily involves account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom provider industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to maintain the accuracy of financial records.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in our financial systems.

• Oversee general ledger functions to ensure all financial data is maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Prepare journal entries and conduct month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reports.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting and analysis tasks.

• Implement and maintain financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial reporting capabilities. Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary

• Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger operations

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Experience with Month End Close operations

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a plus

• Should be well versed in Oracle software

• SAP knowledge is a significant advantage

• Prior experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is advantageous

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• High attention to detail and accuracy is required

• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations is necessary

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team is preferred.
