Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and facility valuations. You will also assist in the yearly budgeting process and participate in special projects.
Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain all month-end journal entries for assigned facilities.
• Perform detailed revenue and reserve analysis as part of financial statement variance analysis.
• Act as a point of contact for facility-related inquiries and provide financial statement information.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly cash flow analysis to support distribution calculations.
• Evaluate facilities for financial performance and worth.
• Reconcile all month-end balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, offering guidance to facilities as needed.
• Assist in special projects as and when required.
• Oversee the completion of monthly close procedures, including roll forwards and reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Provide budget-to-actual comparisons to department heads on a quarterly basis.
• Prepare and collect support for external auditors.
• Assist with the preparation of the yearly budget.

• Demonstrable experience with balance sheet reconciliation is essential
• Experience with bank reconciliations is required
• Proficiency in General Ledger management is a necessity
• Ability to prepare and manage journal entries
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with month-end close processes
• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software
• Working knowledge of Oracle software
• Experience with SAP software is necessary
• Must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credentials are preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Must have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters
• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
