Description

Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates will need excellent analytical skills and an ability to keep up in a fast-paced workspace. The company offers a strong compensation package, benefits, and the opportunity for growth.

How you will make an impact

  • Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Participate in various department-wide initiatives

  • Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

  • Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

  • Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements - Skilled at time management

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Be detailed, flexible, and organized

  • Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

  • Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Efficient in ERP systems

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger

  • Adeptness in fixed assets

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cash management

  • General familiarity with accruals

  • Coding Errors experience preferred

  • Experience with month end closings

  • Balance sheets experience

  • SAP experience highly preferred

  • Deep understanding of variance analysis

  • Practical knowledge of Foreign Exchange Transaction
