Description

Management Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant for 8 month project in North Dallas. This is working a hybrid schedule. The chosen candidate will be primarily tasked with cleaning up our balance sheet and handling general ledger reconciliations. This role will also involve working on a major upcoming project that requires substantial research and in-depth understanding of our general ledger structure.

Responsibilities:

• Take on a major project that involves cleaning up our balance sheet and reconciling our primary and sub-ledger ERP systems.

• Review and analyze current account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure deep understanding of general ledger accounting, debits, and credits.

• Delve into the general ledger to understand our structure and address any issues.

• Handle journal entries and support our accountants on the clean-up aspect of the project.

• Conduct thorough research on transactions that were carried over from the original ERP for historical data.

• Address issues related to different transactions coming into the general ledger by conducting a deep dive into the system.

• Use advanced MS Excel skills for handling large GL transactions and matching data sets.

• Learn to use and navigate the SAP Finance & SAP Leasing systems efficiently.

• Reconcile the balance sheet accounts as necessary.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar capacity

• Demonstrated experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Strong familiarity with SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Proficiency in General Ledger

• Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of SAP
