We are offering an exciting permanent opportunity for a Sr. Paralegal working at a Boutique Law Firm in Dallas, Texas. This role is within the commercial real estate sector and will require you to be highly organized and detail-oriented. You will be responsible for various tasks, including processing legal documents, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. The opportunity comes with full benefits and a competitive base salary including overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and review title commitments and verify property surveys.

• Conduct research and analysis on zoning regulations.

• Drafting closing checklists and updating them in a timely manner.

• Monitor and maintain due diligence lists.

• Draft title objection letters, closing instruction letters, and key dates memoranda.

• Amend and abstract retail leases; draft notices of default.

• Conduct research on state regulations regarding various tenant matters.

• Ensure work is done in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organization.

• Utilize Clio for time/billing and Workshare Litera for redlining/comparisons.

• Handle various tasks related to commercial real estate sales/acquisitions and commercial lending.

Requirements

• Experienced in areas of commercial real estate (sales/acquisitions) and commercial lending.

• Previous experience with drafting/updating closing checklists while monitoring due diligence calendar.

• Ability to review title commitments and draft title objection letters, notices of default.

• Experience with verifying property surveys.

• Draft amendments to and abstract retail leases; draft notices of default.

• Extremely organized with the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
