Description User Experience (UX) Designers should apply for this immediate opportunity with a client of The Creative Group in the Dallas, Texas area. The User Experience (UX) designer is in charge of user research, the administering of interviews and surveys of diverse populations, and the translation of results into sitemaps, wireframes, and design prototypes. On top of the day-to-day tasks, this role is also responsible for creating the overall functionality of the product and work tirelessly to make incremental improvements to deliver an exceptional user experience. This job is for a creative thinker who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues.
Lending a helping hand to other team members as needed (QA, data entry, production updates, resizing of graphics, etc.)
Utilize results from user research and workflow analysis to make riveting experiences for users of a product
Partnering with business users and application developers to translate requirements into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Partnering with other members of the digital marketing team on the development of new initiatives
Producing tools such as personas, usage scenarios, site maps, taxonomies, and wireframes
Overseeing usability testing on prototypes or finished products to assess the quality of a user experience
Areas of focus may include content, controls, visual design, packaging, customer/technical support, branding, and other aspects of user experience Requirements - Proficient in prototype/mockup software (e.g. Sketch, Balsamiq, Zeplin)
- Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography applications such as Adobe Creative Suite
3+ years of experience within the digital design/UX industry
navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Our ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Web Accessibility and testing tools (e.g. Lighthouse, Google Accessibility Developer Tools)
Well-versed in design software applications and tools
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience
- A portfolio demonstrating UX (wireframes/prototypes/other UX artifacts) and visual design work
