Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper to become a part of a thriving CPA firm based in Dallastown, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting-related tasks, such as account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as conducting bank reconciliations. This position offers a contract to hire opportunity and is based on-site, with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement. Responsibilities:

• Handling bookkeeping tasks and ensuring accurate record keeping

• Reconciling accounts and managing accounts payable and receivable

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial tracking

• Completing month-end close procedures to finalize financial records

• Assisting with payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate payment to staff

• Utilizing software applications like Ultratax and QuickBooks Online for accounting tasks.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation with a strong ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems.

• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable management.

• Strong grasp of Accounts Receivable operations.

• Experience in doing Bank Reconciliations.

• Background in maintenance of financial records through Bookkeeping.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data visualization.

• Experience with Month End Close processes.

• Familiar with Payroll procedures including paycheck and tax form processing.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for account setup, transaction entry, and report generation

Recent Graduates preferred!
