Robert Half Immigration Attorney in Dalton, Georgia
Description We are seeking an Immigration Attorney to join our team in Dalton, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of asylum, deportation defense, and family-based petitions. You will work closely with clients and the legal team to ensure comprehensive, compassionate, and effective representation.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients to develop a strong case strategy and provide regular case updates.
• Represent clients in Immigration Court, USCIS interviews, and other relevant proceedings.
• Draft and file motions, petitions, and other court documents in a timely manner.
• Handle all aspects of asylum, deportation defense, and family-based petitions, including client intakes, and legal research.
• Work closely with the legal team to ensure comprehensive representation.
• Represent clients at hearings.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and legal proceedings.
• Utilize knowledge of Immigration Law, Employment-Based Immigration, Deportation, and Asylum to provide effective representation.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.
• Provide compassionate and effective representation at all times. Requirements • Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must have a valid license to practice law in the state
• Proven experience in Immigration Law is required
• Demonstrated expertise in Employment-Based Immigration is necessary
• Must have experience in handling Deportation cases
• Experience in Asylum cases is a must
• Strong research and report-writing skills are required
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills are necessary
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is required
• Strong ethical and professional standards are necessary
