Description

Robert Half Lexington is partnering with a local healthcare system to find an experienced and dedicated Temporary Leave Coverage for an FMLA HR Administrator in their Human Resources Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) ensuring our employees' rights, needs, and responsibilities are met and in compliance with federal regulations. This is a temporary position to cover a leave of absence. This role may also serve as back up for other HR functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and oversee all aspects of the FMLA, ensuring the company's compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

  • Receive and process leave requests, reviewing necessary documentation, and making determination in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Educate both employees and management about FMLA rights, rules, and responsibilities.

  • Coordinate with management and supervisors to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption during employee leave periods.

  • Maintain accurate and complete records relating to FMLA leave.

  • Develop and implement FMLA policies and procedures.

  • Carry out necessary FMLA-related correspondence and communication.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to seamlessly transition the responsibilities upon return of the incumbent.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.

  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in an HR role, overseeing and administering FMLA required

  • Extensive knowledge of FMLA regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Experience with HR management systems.

  • Commitment to understanding and supporting the needs of employees.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to multitask.
