Description
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.
Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledger and general ledger Bring the books to the trial balance stage Perform partial checks of the posting process Enter data, maintain records, and produce financial reports Process accounts payable and receivable Manage payroll activities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis Conduct periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve discrepancies Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Requirements Qualifications: Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field OR equivalent experience
