Robert Half is hiring for a Bookkeeper to join our client and be part of a vibrant and dynamic environment where your skills will make a difference! Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Process and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
Prepare and issue invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist with payroll processing, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions.
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial goals.
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements as needed for management review.
Work closely with the accountant or financial manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred but not required.
