Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a fast-growing company. The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting and finance departments by performing bookkeeping and accounting tasks. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling bank records, drafting financial documents, invoicing customers, and collecting payments. Your responsibilities
Collaborate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Support administrative duties as necessary
Reconcile financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Handle day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account
Responsible for organizing the bookkeeping processes of the company
Track expenses and evaluate financial budgets
Assist Accounting team in the creation and editing of financial documents Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
Bookkeeping experience required
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention to detail
Skilled in written and verbal communication, as well as strong time management abilities
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet application highly desired
