Robert Half International Accounts Receivable Clerk in DAYTON, Ohio
Dynamic manufacturing company is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented to join their growing company. This position is for candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.
Manage Accounts Receivable aging via focused collection efforts to minimize past dues.
Collaborate with representatives of our shipping carriers or internally with our sales support teams to supply proofs of delivery or other support needed to aid in Collection efforts.
Prepare customer statements as needed highlighting past due balances.
Processes credit card payments, as needed to support Collections and backup to Cash Accountant.
Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required
Receive customer credit applications, completing credit review assessing creditworthiness as needed, and set up new customer accounts in the system.
AS Degree preferred - 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
Strong familiarity with commercial collections, cash applications
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
