Robert Half Bookkeeper, Part-Time in DAYTON, Ohio
Description
PART-TIME, 20 hours a week
Our client, who is a non-profit is looking for a part-time bookkeeper. The bookkeeper will be responsible for full cycle accounts payables and receivables, monthly journal entries, account/bank reconciliations, and assist with month-end closing.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and process payments
Run an aged receivables report monthly and review with the Executive Director
Respond to questions regarding statements and individual balances
Post invoices and reimbursements, and ensure that every invoice has been coded and approved
Contact vendors to resolve account payable issues
Run checks and present them with supporting documents for the Treasurer to sign
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll and post payroll journal entries
Reconcile A/R, A/P, and prepaid accounts
Run General Ledger and review for errors with Executive Director
Reconciles all bank accounts as well as petty cash
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years related experience
Sage 50 experience highly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
Non-profit experience a plus!
