Robert Half is partnering with a GROWING manufacturing company for their Senior Accountant opening. The Sr. Accountant is a key member of the finance team and will be responsible for month end reporting, assisting with setting standard costs and analyzing variances! General Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes
· Prepare/post and review journal entries in accordance with GAAP
· Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
· Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the reconciliation process
· Assist in managing inventory processes, including periodic cycle counts and physical inventory audits
· Support standard costing processes, including the calculation and analysis of standard costs for products or services
· Analyze financial variances and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
· CPA and or CMA a plus!
· Minimum of 3 years related experience
· Must have strong Microsoft Excel knowledge (v-look ups/pivot tables)
