Your responsibilities in this role
Help with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
Boost accountability and the meeting of deliverables
Innovative preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
Scan and conceive Ad Hoc financial reports
Make sure regular account reconciliation to completion
Specify and generate process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
Formulate relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, key financial metrics, and the monthly flash report
Backfill for Controller where appropriate
Back implementation and make sure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
Manage the accounting team during the closing process to make sure deadlines are met
Work on other requests when required
Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting
Organize multiple procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses

Requirements - CPA certification a plus
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Endowments experience
Cash management experience
GAAP Accounting experience
Command of Treasury Function
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Complete knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
