Description
Key Responsibilities:
Network Administration:Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
Configure and manage network protocols and security settings.
Technical Support:Provide advanced technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
Troubleshoot network and system problems.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
Server Management:Manage VMware server environments, including virtual machine creation, configuration, and maintenance.
Implement and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions (preferred).
System Maintenance:Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and patching.
Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of [number] years of experience in network administration.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Experience with network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Proficiency in VMware server virtualization.
Experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) is a plus.
