Senior Accountant opportunity available with growth company in the Deer Park area. Well-established, profitable, and growth-oriented manufacturing company seeks a well-rounded corporate accountant to join to join their team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of month close processes, handling various reconciliations and account analysis, as well as cash and inventory reporting. Responsibilities

• Oversee the reconciliation of all accounts and bank statements to ensure financial accuracy

• Manage the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date

• Handle all journal entries, ensuring they are correctly recorded and processed

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks, including data entry and financial analysis

• Use Infor Visual ERP for various accounting processes and tasks

• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues within the balance sheet and take necessary corrective action

• Assist in the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements

• Managing the Month End Close will be primary responsibility of this person

• Balance Sheet, Bank and Account Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger, journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial for data management and analysis.

• Knowledge of Infor Visual ERP system is desirable; hands-on with ERP is key
