Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Application Support Engineer in Deer Park, Texas. The chosen candidate will play a significant role in our IT team, functioning as the subject matter expert for the AVEVA PI suite. This role is integral in driving improvements for our historian and visualization tools, providing transformative digital solutions for our operations in the Oil and Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop PI Asset Framework (PI AF) templates, event frames, and calculations in cooperation with end users.

• Promote the adoption of PI Vision and PI AF best practices among end users.

• Oversee patching, upgrades, configurations, server performance, and monitoring support in collaboration with offshore support teams.

• Manage the creation and maintenance of PI system tags.

• Develop comprehensive technical support documentation for PI, including master data governance strategies.

• Lead the PI roadmap and foster thought partnership with business SMEs.

• Collaborate closely with IT Business Analysts and IT Enterprise Architect to understand and develop strategic roadmaps for AVEVA PI.

• Work with the Project Management Office and IT Technical and OT teams to deliver key projects, including PI upgrades, and ensure adherence to infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is a must for the role.

• Working knowledge of Citrix Technologies is expected.

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is required.

• Experience with Dell Technologies is essential.

• Ability to work with Firewall Technologies is needed.

• Proficiency in Active Directory is crucial.

• Knowledge of Backup Technologies is mandatory.

• Understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary.

• Skills in Configuration Management are required.
