Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Deerfield Beach, Florida
Description
We are hiring! We're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist located near Deerfield Beach, Florida. This position works closely and reports to the Accounting and Finance Manager and handles all the AP needs of the AP/Finance Department. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus.
Major responsibilities:
Full cycle Accounts Payable
Invoice processing using a PO system
Three way match/batch/coding of invoices
Utilizing Sage 100 ERP software
Performing reconciliations of expense accounts
Assisting with month end closing activities
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies
Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Assist the AP/Finance Department with tasks as needed
Requirements
We are searching for individuals with experience in:
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Match/batch/coding of invoices
Three-way matching using a PO system
Working knowledge of Sage 100 ERP software required
1+ years of experience in an A/P role
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
