Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The role involves performing various accounting duties within our organization, such as preparing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with audit preparations. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts

• Review and manage accounts payable and receivable

• Generate timely and accurate accounting reports for management

• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements

• Assist with annual audit preparations

• Ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements

• Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned

• Utilize various software and tools such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for efficient job performance

• Use Excel Formulas for financial analysis and report generation

• Conduct month-end close procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations

Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of five years of experience in the role of a Senior Accountant or similar roles within the finance industry.

• Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Proficiency in maintaining General Ledger and making Journal Entries is required.

• The candidate should be skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas for financial calculations and data analysis.

• Experience in performing Month End Close procedures is required.

• Proficiency in using financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is a must.

• The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks concurrently and meeting deadlines, is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required, a Master's degree or CPA certification will be considered an advantage.

• The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, analytical ability and a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

• Must demonstrate professional integrity and a strong commitment to upholding ethical standards in accounting practices.
