Robert Half Budget Analyst in Deerfield, Illinois

Responsibilities:

• The IT Accountant will play a crucial role in handling budgeting of invoices processing for accounts payable (AP) across two ERP systems, Oracle and SAP. This position involves managing budgets for seven different cost centers/companies within a $7 billion company.

• Manage budgets for multiple cost centers, overseeing financial activities and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Interface with cross-functional teams, including Finance accounting, for seamless collaboration and communication.

• Utilize both Oracle and SAP ERP systems for efficient invoice processing and budget management.

• Contribute to the accurate and timely monthly reporting, aligning with established KPIs for success evaluation.

• Collaborate with the finance team to address strict deadlines and enhance overall financial processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. – not required.

• Proven experience in handling accounts payable, budget management, and financial analysis.

• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP ERP systems is essential.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and accrual processes.

• Excellent communication skills for daily collaboration within the finance team and cross-functional partners.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Work Environment:

• The position offers a hybrid work model, with three days onsite in Deerfield and two days remote. The onsite environment is professional and fosters daily communication and collaboration.
