Robert Half Operational Support Specialist 1 in Defiance, Ohio
Description
We are on the lookout for an Operational Support Specialist to join our Clients team in Defiance, Ohio. In this role, you will be tasked with an array of operational tasks, such as processing customer applications and maintaining accurate customer records, among other responsibilities. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure efficient service delivery
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit information
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when needed
• Handle the sorting and logging of all returned mail received by the bank
• Execute teller tickets for back office departments including General Ledger to General Ledger, refunds, and issuing checks
• Complete refund requests submitted by branches to credit customer accounts
• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient operation
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information
• Carry out auditing tasks as required, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CaseWare
• Knowledge of Concur
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to execute Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Expertise in Auditing
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations
