Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Del Valle, Texas

Description We have a pressing need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to supervise cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. A permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper has become available with a client working with Robert Half to find an experienced candidate to join their team in the Del Valle, Texas area. Apply immediately!

What you get to do every day

  • Mark budget transfers

  • Arrange cash flow projections, as needed

  • Secondary assignment when necessary

  • Condense business license and gross receipts

  • Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Handle monthly accounting close

  • Familiar with Accounts Receivable

  • Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Keep Accounts Payable up to date Requirements - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

    • Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

  • Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

  • Wide ranging experience with Enter Vendor Invoices

  • Payroll experience

  • Practical knowledge of Onboarding

  • Multistate Payroll experience preferred

  • Bookkeeping experience desired

  • Full charge bookkeeping experience preferred

  • Earlier work involving Process Vendor Invoices

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now

  • Well-founded grasp of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Proven knowledge of ADP Financial Services

  • General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Quality experience with Vendor Invoices

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

  • Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
