Description We are offering an opportunity for a skilled Product Manager to join our team in the steel manufacturing industry, located in DELTA, Ohio, United States. The role involves pivotal responsibilities in the engineering and operational support of the company's Digital Transformation technologies. This function will work closely with both the business and internal IT teams to deliver and support modern digital solutions, with a focus on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) modules and system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer the Digital Transformation to facilitate continuous improvement in various plant processes.

• Assist in the design and implementation of digital transformation projects across all business aspects.

• Maintain, expand, and scale the company’s web applications and technologies focusing on Digital Transformation using technologies like JavaScript, Python, AI, machine learning and C#.

• Gather and document business requirements and technical specifications.

• Maintain and support the operation of the SMS MES environment including integration technologies.

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

• Support process change implementation by evaluating against business requirements and completing necessary system updates and supporting documentation updates.

• Collaborate with IT/OT peers and contractors to ensure the integration of design with back-end technology to meet end user needs.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

• Assist with architecting and implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) modules and system integration solutions in accordance with the company’s digital transformation strategy.

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best and secure software development practices. Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

• Proven experience in a Product Management role within the steel manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in SQL Queries and SQL Database management.

• Demonstrable abilities in requirements gathering and product development processes.

• Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative approach to product development.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments.

• Solid understanding of the market trends and customer needs in the steel manufacturing industry.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

• Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
