Robert Half Accounting Manager in Denver, Colorado

Description

Robert Half has partnered with a national non profit located in south Denver in search of a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dedicated non-profit accounting experience, with a preference for those who have worked in multi-location and membership-based non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with non-profit accounting standards.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and manage budgets. Provide financial insights for strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to leadership, board members, and stakeholders. Ensure transparency and accountability in financial matters.

  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations.

  • Remote Work Management: Effectively manage accounting functions in a remote work environment, leveraging digital tools and technologies.

  • Office Transition: Participate in the setup and transition to a new office space, including the expectation of working in the office two days a week once established.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related.

  • CPA is a plus.

  • Proven experience in non-profit accounting.

  • Familiarity with multi-location and membership-based non-profit organizations is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
