Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Denver, Colorado. This role is primarily focused on managing full-cycle accounting functions within a well-established construction company. You will be tasked with various responsibilities, ranging from preparing financial statements to overseeing the accounting staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and review ledger entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

• Maintain the general ledger system and ensure its efficient operation

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Assist with regulatory reporting as required

• Conduct research on accounting issues to ensure compliance with industry standards

• Coordinate the budgeting process, ensuring financial plans align with organizational goals

• Supervise accounting staff, which includes hiring, training, and performance evaluation

• Implement and manage various Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to streamline accounting functions

• Manage billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial operations are transparent and adhere to legal standards. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor, ideally with 5 or more years in the role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Comprehensive understanding of ERP Solutions

• Ability to oversee and manage all Accounting Functions within an organization

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing processes and procedures

• Capable of handling all Billing Functions within an organization

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail

• Advanced knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.
