Robert Half Accounting/Billing Support Specialist in Denver, Colorado


Robert Half is partnering with a logistics company whose US headquarters is located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. The company is currently seeking an Accounting and Billing Support Specialist to join its growing team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing both our internal and external financial operations. You'll also be on the front lines, ensuring our customers receive top-notch support and contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our software platform. This multifaceted role combines financial administration, customer interaction, and product innovation. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Key Tasks:

  • Software Platform Expertise: Acquire an in-depth understanding of our software platform to effectively assist customers and propose enhancements.

  • Customer Support: Manage a queue of customer queries, prioritize issues based on severity, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

  • Effective Communication: Deliver outstanding customer support by handling inbound phone calls, web inquiries, and online chats, providing efficient solutions to customer queries.

  • Platform Liaison: Collaborate with customers who have questions regarding platform usage, offering guidance and clarity.

  • Query Resolution: Skillfully resolve customer inquiries related to bookings, payments, and reporting, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Basic Bookkeeping: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks to maintain precise financial records.

Sales Tax Administration: Oversee company sales tax administration, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.

  • Innovation Advocate: Actively contribute ideas for software enhancements to continually improve the customer experience.


  • Accounting Background: A background in accounting is highly desirable, especially if you have experience with bookkeeping or sales tax administration.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills, is essential.

  • Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in utilizing or learning computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Accounting Platforms, Canva, and LinkedIn, is crucial.

  • Marketing Skills: Any marketing background, skills, or passion would be beneficial for contributing to our marketing efforts.

  • Independence and Proactivity: We're seeking an individual who is proactive, task-oriented, and adept at independently managing multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Friendly and Relatable: A friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for fostering positive relationships with customers.
