Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Denver, Colorado
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the construction/contractor industry, based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing client applications, and resolving customer queries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records as required
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as needed
• Carry out invoice processing and coding invoices duties
• Perform check runs to ensure smooth financial operations
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other relevant tasks
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals
• Contribute to the improvement of accounts payable processes within the organization
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all tasks. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct Check Runs
• Experience in Coding Invoices is required
• Must have a strong background in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the construction/contractor industry
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.
