Description We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is within the industry of accounting and will involve the management of accounting functions, notably in the pharmacy sector. This role provides a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the monthly accounting close process

• Reviewing and refining current accounting processes

• Facilitating the transition of an acquired company from cash to accrual accounting

• Utilizing accounting software systems such as Sage Intacct and Quickbooks Online to manage accounts payable and receivable

• Implementing accrual accounting principles to manage and record financial transactions

• Assisting in the integration of acquired companies into our accounting system

• Conducting monthly end close procedures and preparing financial reports

• Managing journal entries for accurate record-keeping

• Leveraging experience in handling inventory, specifically within the pharmacy industry. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems usage

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Acquisition Integration

• Proficient in Sage Intacct and Quickbooks Online

• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures

• Ability to carry out Financial Reporting tasks

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries.
