Description We are actively recruiting a Controller to join our team based in Denver, Colorado. The Controller will play a pivotal role in managing our accounting operations and leading our financial activities. This position is crucial for ensuring financial regulations compliance and providing strategic financial insights to fuel our growth.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a wide range of financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and roll out financial policies and procedures to certify accuracy and compliance.
• Foster the growth and development of the accounting team, offering guidance and mentorship.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage professional relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure adherence to franchise accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
• Utilize skills in accounting software systems, CRM, and Crystal reports to manage accounting functions and processes. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller position.
• Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in auditing and budget processes is essential.
• Must have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Experience with franchise strategy is beneficial.
• Must have a solid understanding and experience with accounts payable and receivable.
• The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various teams is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends and remaining current with accounting standards.
