Description
My team is working with a growing Denver-based Construction and Architecture Company just outside of Downtown Denver to place their next Controller! This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong accountant looking to take ownership of all accounting processes. This Controller position offers 100% employer paid benefits, generous time off, education reimbursement, and is paying up to $100K + Bonus!
Primary job duties for the Controller include:
Accounts payable/receivable
Preparing a variety of monthly financial reports
Oversee all accounts, general ledgers, and reporting systems
Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting
Managing cash and cash analysis and preparing cash flow statements
Filing state sales tax returns
Preparing payroll reports

Requirements
Requirements for the Controller include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Working knowledge of job cost accounting (WIP, POC, AIA billing, etc.)
Comfortable doing light office management/administrative duties.
Strong QuickBooks experience (bonus points for Enterprise)
Process improvement experience is nice to have
