Robert Half Data Entry Clerk II (Contractor) in Denver, Colorado

Description We are providing a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role primarily involves operating a data entry device to input lists, records, or other data points into an electronic format. The Data Entry Clerk will work under immediate supervision, adhering to instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions in a structured environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute data entry tasks by operating a data entry device, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Input various data points into an electronic format, adhering to established standards and practices.

• Follow instructions and guidelines to perform job functions in line with industry practices.

• Work under immediate supervision, demonstrating the ability to follow directives accurately.

• Contribute to the team by assisting a supervisor or manager as needed.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data integrity and security policies.

• Display a working knowledge of commonly-used concepts and practices within the data entry field.

• Exhibit skills in using electronic formats for data entry and record keeping.

• Demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment when necessary.

• Uphold the standards and procedures of the workplace, contributing to a productive and efficient environment. Requirements • Proficient in performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed

• Familiarity with standard office procedures and best practices

• Experience in supervising other staff members or teams

• Ability to exercise independent judgment in decision making

• Knowledge of transferring data into electronic formats

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse individuals

• Strong multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

• High school diploma or equivalent education level required

• Prior experience in a similar role would be a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
