Robert Half DevOps Engineer in Denver, Colorado
Description
We are in the service industry, situated in Denver, Colorado. Currently, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Linux engineering and administration, including security and disaster recovery best practices. You will also serve as a subject matter expert in several key technologies within the assigned technology domain, and will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and secure operational solutions in our DevOps environments.
Responsibilities:
• Apply a combination of experience and/or education, preferably with four years of work experience in a technical role or a technical (STEM) degree.
• Provide in-depth experience in Linux engineering and administration, including security and disaster recovery best practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert in multiple key technologies/platforms within the assigned technology domain.
• Demonstrate mastery of Linux as well as automation in support of DevOps & CI/CD methodologies, practices, and technologies.
• Independently design, implement, and maintain highly available and secure operational solutions in dev, test, QA, and production DevOps environments.
• Show in-depth experience with Linux automation/Infrastructure-as-Code enterprise automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc., including best practices and drawbacks.
• Offer support for various container and orchestration tools.
Requirements
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and strong Automation skills are necessary
• Extensive knowledge of AWS Technologies and Configuration Management
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) is a must
• Ability to create dashboards and develop Automation Solutions
• Experience in writing Automation Scripts
• Demonstrated expertise in DevOps Automation
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
