Robert Half Full Stack Developer in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves maintaining and supporting internal applications, upgrading SQL, and creating new apps. The successful candidate will be part of a small IT team within a larger organization of 140 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and support of internal applications, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime

• Upgrade SQL databases as needed to improve functionality and performance

• Collaborate with a team of just 9 IT professionals within an organization of 140 employees

• Develop new applications, providing plenty of opportunity for innovative thinking and problem-solving

• Utilize skills in Apache Struts, C++, Database, EO/IR systems, Hibernate ORM, AB Testing, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, CSS, .NET Core, React, and Redux to perform tasks effectively

• Participate in HR Interviews and Personality Assessments as part of the recruitment process

• Collaborate with team members, including Donald and Ian, for 60-minute sessions to discuss and plan projects.

This role does not require any specific duration commitment. Requirements • Minimum of two years of experience as a Software Engineer or related role.

• Proficient in Apache Struts, C++, and Database management.

• Experience with EO/IR systems.

• Familiarity with Hibernate ORM and AB Testing.

• Proficiency in AJAX, API Development, and ASP.NET.

• Strong knowledge of CSS, .NET Core, React, and Redux.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

• Proven track record of managing a project's full lifecycle.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

• Experience in software quality assurance.

• Strong understanding of the software development cycle.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Proven ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
