Robert Half General Manager in Denver, Colorado

Description We are in the market for a General Manager to lead our hospitality business located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves overseeing daily operations, designing business strategies, maintaining food safety standards, and managing staff within a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position also includes administrative tasks, handling budgets and finances, and promoting the brand within the local community.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily business operations and provide leadership in all aspects of the restaurant.

• Design and implement business strategies to promote the attainment of goals.

• Ensure full adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

• Develop and implement service procedures and standards.

• Review staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.

• Manage restaurant budgets and financial plans, including reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and coordinate restaurant staff.

• Manage staff schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks.

• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.

• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations in the workplace. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a management role, preferably within the restaurant industry

• Proven knowledge and experience in restaurant management and operations

• Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance team

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Proficiency in using restaurant management software

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service sector

• Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems

• A customer-centric approach, with the ability to train staff in customer service to develop and maintain relationships with customers

• Understanding of budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
