Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an IT Auditor in Denver, Colorado. This role is within a SaaS organization and will require the successful candidate to utilize and develop their skills, such as documentation, walkthroughs, & application controls.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct IT audits, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards
• Perform audit activities, including planning and executing audit tests
• Review and evaluate business systems and application controls
• Document audit findings and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare audit workpapers and ensure all audit functions are carried out in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance documentation and create technical documentation when required
• Collaborate with different teams to rectify audit findings and improve compliance
• Monitor and review ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for potential issues
• Continuously update audit programs and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT auditor role or similar
• Proven knowledge and experience in Audit Program
• Familiarity with Business Systems
• Proficiency in CobiT
• Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Knowledge of Application Controls
• Experience in handling Audit Findings
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Compliance procedures
• Ability to create and manage Documentation
• Experience in IT Audit and IT audits
• Familiarity with Audit - Information Systems
• Proven experience in Audit Activities
• Knowledge of Audit Compliance
• Experience in managing Audit Workpapers
• Understanding of Audit Functions
• Experience in conducting Audit Tests
• Knowledge of Compliance Documentation
• Ability to create and manage Technical Documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
