Legal Administrator

Our client, a boutique Law Firm located in the DTC area is seeking a Legal Administrator to join their fast-paced firm and team of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and other support staff. We are looking for a legal administrator with 5 plus years of law office administration experience. We are looking for experience working with casualty insurance companies’ legal billing systems and the demonstrated ability to hire, train and supervise legal support staff. Experience with the training of attorneys and staff in daily computer operation, setting up and troubleshooting office computers, and managing firm social media platforms. The Legal Administrator will be managing the payroll, including 401K, and timely providing to outside vendors for processing. The Legal Administrator will oversee the billing specialist as well. The Legal Administrator will be responsible for the benefits administration, selecting vendors, and presenting options to management. The position requires experience with small/medium firm environments. The position includes managing/overseeing daily financial aspects of firm operation, coordination with outside payroll service, coordination/management of employee benefits, coordination with outside IT vendor with some responsibility for internally addressing computer/IT issues, management of staff and firm resources, management of firm vendors. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrator or similar role

• Proven experience with Case Management Software and Legal software

• Familiarity with LexisNexis and other legal research tools

• Knowledge of Management System and Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Administrative Law and HR Law

• Experience with Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, and Claim Administration

• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics

• Understanding of HR Policy and HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Ability to manage Monthly Financials and Legal Billing

• Experience with bi-Monthly Payroll and managing vendor relationships

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or relevant field.
