Corporate Legal Assistant
Our client, a boutique full-service law firm located downtown Denver, is searching for 5+ years’ corporate legal assistant to join their practice on a direct-hire basis to support their transactional Mergers & Acquisitions group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Draft letters and other legal documents
Perform conflicts checks
Draft client engagement letters
Create and maintain client files
Secretary of State Entity Formation
Create, distribute, and monitor electronic signature packages
Document production, including formatting, editing and proofreading documents
Create template-based contracts
Produce and maintain weekly and monthly client reports
Calendar management, scheduling appointments
Other responsibilities as assigned by attorney
Experience with PracticeMaster and TABS legal software highly preferred. This is a hybrid job opportunity with a few days in the downtown Denver office. Parking is paid for by the firm. Requirements - Conducting routine discovery
Experience assisting lawyers in preparing for transactional closings, depositions, hearings, trials and conferences; completing many administrative tasks, including, working on individual cases or transactions
2+ years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge of document production
Well-founded grasp of scheduling
Proficiency in corporate law
Transactional Law experience
Wide ranging experience with project management
Comprehensive knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)
Foundational knowledge in conflicts checks
Quality experience with Contract Compliance
Corporate law experience preferred
Proven knowledge of Calendar Management
General familiarity with Travel Coordination
Drafting legal court documents, such as pleadings, motions, affidavits and subpoenas; transactional documents, such as trusts, wills, contracts and real estate leases; and closing documents
Organizing and tracking files for important transactions or case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating and maintaining a case-management database
Investigating the factual evidence of a transaction or case and preparing exhibits, charts and diagrams to display information
