Litigation Paralegal
Our client, a leading law firm seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to join our growing team. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification, and 5 plus years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. The practice areas for this position include personal injury, property damage, and insurance bad faith. A successful candidate will be a team-player, be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, and feel comfortable taking the initiative and managing their cases. Paralegals are responsible for: conducting investigations; research; collecting records; preparing and filing pleadings; case management, including calendaring, assistance with expert witnesses, trial preparation and trial. Our client offers a competitive salary upto $85,000 a year, dependent on experience, 100% medical insurance premium paid by employer, 401k eligibility after 1 year with employer paid contribution regardless of employee contribution, 100% FAMLI premium payment by employer, annual wellness and technology stipends, and a congenial work environment.

• Organize and electronically file pleadings

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Paralegal
• Proficiency in using Aderant software
• Ability to use Adobe Acrobat effectively
• Experience with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
• Familiarity with Case Management Software
• Proficiency in using CompuLaw software
• Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently
• Experience in Briefing and Calendar Management
• Capable of handling Claim Administration tasks
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in Litigation as a Paralegal
• Proven track record as a Paralegal
• Competency in Docketing tasks
• Experience in Insurance Defense
• Proficiency in Insurance Defense Litigation
• Knowledge of Property law
• Experience with Property Casualty Insurance
• Ability to handle Property Damage Claim
• Experience with Property Insurance
