Robert Half Procurement Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist based in DENVER, Colorado. This role is situated within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry. As a Procurement Specialist, you'll be involved in the development and management of the supplier base for assigned services or construction projects. You'll also be responsible for supporting procurement efforts and coordinating the onboarding of new suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the supplier base for assigned services or construction projects

• Work with internal customers and vendors to support procurement efforts

• Support negotiations with suppliers for assigned commodities and projects to achieve the best price, quality, and schedule

• Support and coordinate the registration and onboarding of new suppliers in company and third-party systems

• Research new sources of services, make recommendations to reduce costs and improve quality

• Maintain all required records of sourcing, negotiations, and contracts

• Formulate and secure vendor contracts for construction projects, corporate purchasing, and operations sourcing needs

• Work with internal customers to prepare RFP scope of work and related specifications for new and/or existing contracts or projects

• Negotiate contracts with selected vendors and review final contracts

• Ensure quality and cost value of selected vendor's goods and services

• Track construction projects through completion and support Property Accounts Payable as needed to ensure timely and accurate payment of construction project invoices

• Serve as the main point of contact working with corporate and field team members experiencing issues with goods and services provided by contracted vendors

• Manage the company's compliance with established purchasing procedures.

• Contract Negotiation Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Procurement Specialist role or similar within the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and About Time software.

• Solid understanding and experience in compliance and corporate procurement processes.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively and efficiently.

• Proven experience in contract negotiation, with a focus on achieving favorable terms.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus.
